Qualifying homes must be heated primarily with Enbridge NG at time of the Pre-Audit and/or Post-Audit. A min of 2 qualifying measures must be performed in order to qualify for rebates.

Homeowners will be given a max of 120 days from the date of their initial audit, to install eligible upgrade measures and have their follow up audit completed. While people can participate multiple times (up to $5000 rebate cap), the $600 audit cost rebate is available only once. Insulation rebates are pro-rated based on the % of the total square footage that is improved. * MURBs do not qualify for this rebate program.  (1) Rebate amount received will be pro-rated based on the % of the total roof assembly insulated. Rebate amount for any combination of attic, cathedral ceiling, and flat roof insulation cannot exceed $1,500.  (2) Minimum area of 11 square meters of 120 square feet.  (3) Insulate a min. Of 20% of the basement wall area; Insulate a min. 80% of your entire foundation header area; Insulate a min. 50% of your entire basement slab area; If you are also insulating your exterior crawl space walls, the maximum you can receive for insulating both the exterior crawl space wall and basement wall areas is $1500 . Rebate amount for basement wall will be pro-rated based on the total % of walls insulated. Foundation header can be a basement header, a crawl space header, or a combination of these two. (4) Insulate a min of 20% of the exterior crawl space walls or crawl space ceiling, insulate a min of 80% of your entire foundation header area. If you are insulating both your basement and crawl space walls, the maximum you can receive for insulating both the exterior crawl space wall and basement wall areas is $1500. Rebates for exterior crawl space walls, or crawl space ceiling will be pro-rated based on the total % of the area insulated.  (5) $50 per rough opening for each window door, sliding door or skylight replaced with an ENERGY STAR certified model. Min. of 3 windows or 1 door or 1 sliding door or 1 skylight are required to be upgraded to count as one (1) Qualified Measure; Keep ENERGY STAR labels on windows and doors until after E audit.  (6) It is highly recommended that the participant ask the licensed and trained professional to sign an attestation form confirming that the installation has been completed according to the CSA standard. New heat pump must be on NRCan’s list of eligible products. Heat does not have to be distributed to all parts of the home. Rental heat pumps are eligible.  (7) All exterior wall insulation rebates for Row Housing will be pro-rated 50% for interior units and 75% for end units.
